When Skin Won’t Hydrate
Her Dry Skin Struggle... Plus, How To Maximize Our March Deal
Stephanie never thought about her skin much growing up. She never had flare ups, acne or any obvious problems through High School.
It wasn’t until her first full time job that she started noticing changes in her skin.
“You expect you're going to need concealer and makeup when you get old, but I’m not that old!” she said.
It gets really uncomfortable when other women in the office start recommending moisturizers and skin routines - when you didn’t ask. Her skin just didn’t seem to absorb the hydration creams she tried.
At first, it was just the occasional redness, flaky skin around the nose and a feeling of tightness after showering. It even started to affect her self esteem and self worth.
It’s frustrating when family tells you to shrug it off. “It’s not that bad, you look fine”, they’d say.
Stephanie still felt 10 years older every time she looked in a mirror and it bothered her.
Two years ago, she walked into a beauty spa and met with their Esthetician. One thing they suggested was seeing if she could work from home to get away from non-stop office air conditioning, and avoid long hot showers.
They talked about hormones, food choices, but she also suggested a cleanser, toner and hydration routine - our Dry & Sensitive Skin Kit.
“I had no idea you could apply something that prepares your skin for moisturizer” she said.
Within about six weeks, she’s back to the skin she had when she lived at home, and we’re happy to hear that too.
